Environmental Science

Environmental science is a one semester upper level elective that relies on the principles of biology, chemistry and geology as well as the social sciences to explain complex natural systems.  This course will cover environmental science in the context of current global concerns, exploring scientific, economic, social and political solutions to environmental problems.  Further discussions and research will touch on the history of the environmental movement, environmental regulatory agencies, fundamental principles of resources and their use, population, conservation, and environmental health.
