This course provides a review of basic skills and other mathematical skills needed to meet the challenges faced by most consumers. Concurrently, personal finance covers a wide range of practical skills beyond the review of basic math skills, including topics such as hourly wages, payroll deductions, budgeting, banking, credit cards and loans, buying and financing a new or used car, and investing. This is useful for everyone living in a consumer-oriented society.
